Decades of Rock--Elvis, simply the KING

It's virtually impossible to not consider Elvis' influence in every decade of rock.
With the 1950's being, hands down, the obvious jumping off point, Elvis' style can be heard in artist like Ricky Nelson, and even the early rocker turned country artist Conway Twitty. Oceans were not too wide, as Elvis jumped the pond to influence the likes of  The Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

From Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Elton John, Bon Jovi, the sexy persona of George Michaels, he even jumps genders for Mariah Carey, and reaches through generations to Bruno Mars!

 Face it--Elvis really is--everywhere.

And this Sunday, Jan 7th, we'll be in every era, airing many of the great Rock tunes that many legendary musicians claim turned them into the entertainers they are today.  Live from our flagship station, WRGG 93.7, the studio will be filled with the likes of Heart Break Hotel, Jail House Rock, My Babe,  Burning Love, and rarely heard on the radio tunes like, If You Talk in Your Sleep, For the Heart, Way Down, and so much more!

We will be spinning Elvis' rock hits from 1950, 1960 and 1970; lots of music in two hours!
